Ramaphosa: Andrew Mlangeni 'dedicated his life to ending corruption'

President Cyril Ramaphosa says anti-apartheid activist Andrew Mlangeni fought for an equal society to his last day.
Ramaphosa delivered the eulogy at Mlangeni's funeral in Soweto on Tuesday.

"Just as he dedicated his life to ending the corruption of the human soul that apartheid typified, so too would he speak out against the greed and the avarice that threatened to erode our hard-won democracy.
"Always faithful to the principles of his movement, the African National Congress, always true to its revolutionary discipline. He understood his responsibility to challenge the abuse of power."
Mlangeni, who was the last remaining Rivonia trialist, passed away last week at the age of 95.
Former President Thabo Mbeki - who gave a tribute via Skype - said Mlangeni had been worried about the goings-on in the ANC and the use of power for self-benefit.
