'Racist rant' estate agent appears in court
Estate agent Vicki Momberg is expected to appear in the Randburg Magistrates court on Wednesday morning after her racist rant was caught on video.
Momberg is facing a charge of crimen injuria after her racist rant was caught on video and shared on social media.
In the video, Momberg can be heard swearing and insulting metro police officers in Northriding, Johannesburg after being a victim of smash-and-grab.
She will appear in court for the first time on Wednesday and is set t be charged with crimen injuria - described as wilfully injuring someone's dignity through words or gestures.
The video that appeared on social media shows Momberg using the "k-word" and refusing to be assisted by black metro police officers.
She is also facing charges at the equality court.
