R612 crash death toll increases to 11
The death toll from Thursday morning's crash in southern KZN has risen.
Three trucks, a minibus and a bakkie collided on the R612.
"Sadly the number of fatalities from this morning's crash on the R612 between Highflats and Ixopo has increased.
"It's now been confirmed that 11 people have tangentially lost their lives in this crash,” KZN EMS spokesperson Robert Mckenzie says.
McKenzie says 12 people were injured, some critically.

The exact cause of the accident is unclear.
