R103 at Mooi River blocked by protesters
Updated | By Puseletso Petersen
Protesters have blocked the R103, in Mooi River, this morning, near
Escourt, in what is believed to be a dispute over electricity supply.

This motorist - who drove past the scene before 8am today - has spoken to Newswatch.
Meanwhile in other news from the roads, the N3 Toll Concession says high traffic volumes related to the long weekend, caused extensive delays on the route yesterday afternoon.
This occurred on the road heading to Gauteng and especially in the region of the Tugela Toll Plaza near Ladysmith - where a traffic backlog stretched to around 11-kilometers.
At about 14h30, more than 2700 vehicles per hour were travelling northbound between the Mooi and Tugela Plazas.
