Probe into fatal shooting of ANC member near Richards Bay
KZN police are investigating the murder of an ANC member who was shot dead on the north coast last night.
SAPS spokesperson, Thembeka Mbhele says a case of murder has been opened after Sifiso Mlambo was gunned down in the eMpenbeni area near Richards Bay.
"Sifiso Mlambo from eMpenbeni area was shot and killed yesterday just after 7pm in the afternoon after he was assisting with the offloading of goods in one of the houses in the area," he says.

Mlambo served as a branch secretary in the region. Mbhele says police returned to the scene of the attack today to conduct further investigations.
