Metro cop and co-accused appear in court for businessman's murder

A metro police officer has appeared in the Durban Magistrate's Court - along with three co-accused in connection with the murder of a Berea businessman.

Hoosen Dhoda was killed two weeks ago at his Cowey Road
business. The property was also ransacked.
Three of the suspects were arrested and charged with murder and robbery a few days days after the incident.
They trio made their first court appearance last week.
The National Prosecuting Authority's Natasha Ramkisson-Kara says a fourth suspect - who was only recently arrested - appeared in court with his co-accused today - with the matter being postponed .
"The accused appeared in the Durban Magistrates Court today, and they were remanded into custody till the 26th of August for a bail application."
