Updated | By Maryke Vermaak
Acting Police Commissioner, Khomotso Phahlane is set to brief the country on the progress made by police in their investigation into the break in at the office of the Chief Justice this morning.
The break-in took place a day after the Constitutional Court ruled on the social grant debacle.
Fifteen computers, containing personal information about judges and judicial officers, were taken from the Human Resources department on the second floor.
Eyebrows were raised when two men broke into the home of former Social Development Director General, Zane Dangor and the phone of Black Sash lawyer, Jeff Budlender was stolen.

Political parties including the ANC and civil society organisations have expressed concern about the robbery - describing it as a direct attack on the judiciary.
Phahlane appointed a senior detective to lead a multi-unit team with police under pressure to bring the culprits to book.
Led by the Gauteng Deputy Police Commissioner Major General Mary Motsepe, the team has been tasked with analysing the crime scene and devise a plan on how to proceed.
