PICS: The latest from the Lily Mine collapse
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
The families of the trapped miners at Lily Mine in Mpumalanga are both anxious and despondent after hearing the news that they will have to wait two weeks before rescue operations resume at Lily Mine.

The rig brought in to drill a secondary outlet or escape route has broken down while management of the mine addressed the media last week, saying the safety of rescuers and the operation need to be ensured.
Three miners - Yvonne Mnisi, Pretty Mabuza and Solomon Nyarenda - were in a metal container that plummeted nearly 100m underground over two weeks ago.
Rescue efforts have had to be halted after a third collapse at the mine in Mpumalanga. Almost 80 miners were rescued after a shaft collapsed in early February.
Twenty-three-year-old Yvonnne Mnisi has two sons aged nine and two years old while 34-year-old Pretty Mabuza is the mother of four children, including an eight-month-old girl.
Below, CEO Mike McCheasney briefs the media on the latest from the mine.
