PICS: Clean-up underway at Durban coastline
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
A massive clean up operation is underway on the Durban beach front, after giant waves pummelled the promenade yesterday afternoon.
Restaurants on the beach have been adversely affected with some owners saying business operations have been severely interrupted.
The waves washed over the North Beach promenade - causing the closure of the beach to to bathers, and lifeguards.
It's believed the swells are a ripple effect of a tropical storm Cyclone Enawo, that landed in Madagascar last week.
