"We look at the appointment of David Mabuza, who is quite a shady character,  and the three candidates who should have been axed completely, Malusi Gigaba, Bathabile Dlamini and Nomvula Mokonyane who is heading up a strategic portfolio - communications," says the party's Refiloe Ntsekhe.

Ntsekhe says however they have welcomed the decision to bring back some respected MPs.

"Ramaphosa has got some strong ministers on board such as Pravin Gordhan, and Nhlanhla Nene who will help stabilise finances a little," she says.

The EFF meanwhile says the decision to keep Malusi Gigaba as a Minister is an insult to the intelligence of South Africans. Gigaba been moved from Finance to Home Affairs.

The party tweeted, 'to keep such characters in the cabinet is a direct rejection of the constitutional order'.
