Olorato Mongale suspect killed by KZN police
Updated | By Newswatch
The main suspect, wanted in connection with the murder of Wits student Olorato Mongale, has been killed in a shootout with KZN police.

The circumstances surrounding the gun battle are not clear at this stage.
It is understood that provincial SAPS teams descended on an area in Amanzimtoti, south of Durban, in the early hours of Friday morning.
The suspect is one of three people who have been linked to the murder of 30-year-old Mongale over the weekend.
Her body was discovered in Lombardy West in Gauteng after she had apparently gone on a date.
National police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe says it is believed the group belongs to a criminal syndicate targeting women.
She says they have taken both parents of one of the suspects into custody in Durban.
"The father is the owner of the VW Polo, while the mother is believed to have tipped off the son that police are at the parents' house looking for him.
"This action by the mother enabled the son to evade arrest on Wednesday evening. When police arrived in Inanda, where he stays, he had already left.
