Office of the Chief Justice break-in suspects in court
Updated | By Maryke Vermaak
Two men arrested in connection with the break-in at the Office of the Chief Justice in Midrand briefly appeared in court this afternoon.
Bigboy Yose (30) and Given Msimango (20) were arrested earlier this week following a police search in Mamelodi.
They were found with unlicensed firearms, ammunition and fake ID documents.
Yose and Msimango both have previous convictions relating to fraud and robbery and could face a possible Schedule 5 charge.
Acting National Police Commissioner Khomotso Phahlane announced the three arrests this morning, including that of Yose and Msimango.
Phahlane said the men would appear in court today, but not on charges relating to the robbery.
They have been remanded in custody and will apply for bail on 30 March.
