Ntuzuma crash: Schools still reeling from shock

The Deputy Principal of one of the schools that lost two pupils in the Ntuzuma crash - says the school is battling to come to terms with the loss.

The four pupils who lost their lives in the accident were from Isibonelo Secondary School and Isivananda Technical School in KwaMashu.

Deputy Principal of Isivananda Technical School, Lumka Xaba, added that the tragedy has marked a difficult start to the academic year.
She says the support they've received following the horror crash, has been overwhelming.
"We are very shocked. We didn't expect to start the year like this. In fact, support from the MEC, from the Department of Transport, Road Accident Fund, the many structures of the community that came in and gave us a word of support," she said.
Xaba offered condolences to the families.
"We know they are going through a very difficult time," she said.
It's since emerged that two-of the four children who lost their lives in the fatal crash on Wednesday morning - were siblings.
