No big change expected in unemployment rate
Updated | By Bulletin
Labour observers and economists are not expecting much of a shift in the unemployment rate.

The latest figures from the Stats SA's Quarterly Labour Force Survey are being released on Tuesday.
The latest data for the fourth quarter of 2023 saw official unemployment tick up to 32.1%.
Economist Dawie Roodt has urged flexibility in dealing with the job crisis pending the outcome of the elections.
"There is an election around the corner, and that means the private sector is in a wait-and-see mood. Waiting to see what is going to happen in the elections because that will determine what policy we are going to have forward. That will have a huge impact on what can be in terms of the economy."
