New Germany building fire damage to run into millions
Officials say the damage caused by a massive fire to a building in New Germany's Industrial Park area could run into the millions.
A motor repair centre, which is situated on Chelsea Avenue, was gutted when the blaze broke out at around 11:00 yesterday.
Fire fighters worked for more than four hours to extinguish the flames.
eThekwini Fire Divisional Commander Dennis Govender says no one was hurt. He says an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the blaze.
