Ndwedwe man accused of creating ghost employees, defrauds over R400k from municipality

A former payroll administrator, who was fired from Ndwedwe Local Municipality, will head back to court at the end of March.
Nkosingizwile Gama is accused of defrauding the municipality of R488 000.
The 36-year-old allegedly created ghost employees between 2015 and 2016.

KZN Hawks spokesperson, Simphiwe Mhlongo says his supervisor spotted the suspicious payments.
"He was arrested on Monday and appeared in court the next day before the magistrate's court. His case was postponed to 31st March."
