N3 crash: Minority Front leader’s son and fiancee laid to rest

Family and friends of the son of the leader of the Minority Front who was killed, along with his partner on the N3 this week are saying a final farewell on Friday afternoon.
An out-of-control truck ploughed into several vehicles near the Mariannhill Toll Plaza on Tuesday.
Pradhil Thakur Koblall and his fiancée, Priyanka Nunkumar were in one the cars and lost their lives.
Family spokesperson Viresh Bhana says they've gathered at the Cato Ridge crematorium to lay them to rest.

"Its been absolutely devastating throughout the week from the time the deaths were circulated on social media, but the number of messages of condolences we received from the public and organisations throughout KZN and the world has actually brought some comfort to the families."
He says the unfortunate incident has again shone a spotlight on road safety.
"It could have definitely been avoidable. We requested that the Department of Transport take immediate action. They should consider having a dedicated lane for trucks and at the same time, they can have arrestor beds and more police patrols."
