N2 truck crash near Port Shepstone claims one life

A man has been killed and another critically hurt in a crash involving two trucks in southern KZN.
Update - The N2 between Port Shepstone and Harding is now open to traffic.
The vehicles collided on the N2 between Port Shepstone and Harding.
KZN Emergency Medical Services' Robert Mckenzie says paramedics are still trying to establish whether anyone else has been hurt.
"Paramedics and emergency services are still busy on the scene of the crash involving two trucks. The crash occurred earlier this morning. The road remains closed due to the wreckage. Police are investigating further," Mckenzie said.

Mckenzie says debris has been strewn across the road.

The freeway is closed in both directions.
Motorists are being urged to use alternate routes via Hibberdene and Port Edward.
