MUT students shocked at Zolile Khumalo murder accused antics in court

MUT SRC president Sandile Dlamini says they are shocked by the behaviour the 23-year-old man accused of killing first year quantity surveying student, Zolile Khumalo displayed at court today.
There was an uproar in the Durban Magistrates Court when Thabani Mzolo smiled and laughed during his first appearance.
It is alleged that Mzolo gained access to Khumalo's city centre off-campus residence on Tuesday through the help of another student.

21-year-old Khumalo was shot twice.
Mzolo allegedly confessed to the murder on Facebook shortly after the incident and was found in her room and arrested.
They had allegedly been dating for a year before Khumalo ended the relationship recently.
Talking to the media outside court, Dlamini says he could not believe it when he heard what had happened.
