The funeral service of the Chatsworth paraplegic woman and her son who were found dead at the Silverglen Nature Reserve south of Durban this week will be held today at the Clare Estate Crematorium.
Sagren Pillay and his 68-year-old mother Latchmi Durgan were last heard from at their home on Thursday last week.
Police opened a case of murder after Durgan's body was found floating in a dam at the reserve, while an inquest docket was opened when Pillay's body was found in a bush close by.
Durgen's daughter, Kogi Reddy says the family is still battling to come to terms with their double loss.
"We had a special mother and daughter relations so this is so difficult for me", she said.
Reddy told Newswatch the last few days she spent with her mother will always be special to her.
