MTN SA slashes data prices by half

Mobile network giant, MTN, says they will be dropping their data bundles prices by 50 percent.
CEO of MTN South Africa Godfrey Motsa has announced several solutions to reduce data costs, at a press conference in Johannesburg this morning.
This, after Competition Commission announced earlier this month, that at the beginning of April, Vodacom's data will drop by 30 percent.
Motsa says there will be significant changes to the 30-day bundles. The prices are dropping by 50 percent.

He the one gig that's priced at R149 is now going to drop to R99.
Motsa says this will be the maximum charge on data . Other bundles will be charged lower.
15th of April has been the date set for the new prices to be in effect.
