Mthwalume murders: Two suspects charged
Two men arrested in connection with the killings of 5 women whose bodies were found in Mthwalume, in the south coast, have been charged with murder.
This was confirmed by Police Minister Bheki Cele who yesterday was addressing the south coast community following the discovery of the bodies in a sugarcane field in separate events recently.
Cele says the duo will be appearing in court soon.
"They are going to court on Monday. We have information indicating so, however police will have to finalize that", he said.
According the KZN's Department of Social Development, the men aged 35 and 40 were found in possession of cellphones and SIM cards belonging to the deceased.
