Updated | By Celumusa Zulu
The search for missing flood victims in Mthatha in the Eastern Cape has intensified to cover more ground.

That’s according to the Gift of the Givers.
The humanitarian organisation has been helping police and other search and rescue teams with recovery operations since parts of the province were battered by torrential downpours.

Several more bodies were recovered over the weekend, including that of a baby, pushing the death toll to 88.
The organisation's Ahmed Bham is there and says the devastated area is quite large.
"We had two search teams that were searching around the river.
"They brought in the K9s, later the police assisted us. We used all our boats and all resources so we could try and intensify getting to as many areas as possible."
