Msunduzi Electricity working on restoring power to the municipality
Msunduzi Municpality says about half of Pietermaritzburg has been left without electricity this morning as technicians have had to start emergency repairs to a substation in the Campsdrift area.
Repair work is currently underway outside the Eksom substation - on the N3 to Edendale route.
LISTEN: Operations Manager at Msunduzi Electricity, Doray Vallo says they're hoping to wrap up repairs as soon as possible.
