Motion of no confidence in Cyril Ramaphosa postponed

The Western Cape High Court has postponed the African Transformation Movement's application challenging the decision by the Speaker of Parliament to not to hold a secret ballot in the vote of no confidence against President Cyril Ramaphosa.
The court matter will be heard again in February.
ATM brought the motion in Parliament back in February - but due to Covid-19, it was postponed to today.
The party now wants Parliament to postponed today's sitting pending the court outcome.
Parliamentary spokesperson, Moloto Mothapo has tweeted that the Speaker of the National Assembly has received a letter from the party requesting a postponement of the motion of no confidence.
Some parties including the DA and African Christian Democratic Party have said they would abstain from voting.
The IFP has said it would vote against the motion.
