More findings against Gordhan
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
The Public Protector has made more findings against Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan.
Busisiwe Mkhwebane has released some reports this afternoon.
She has found that Gordhan violated the Executive Members Ethics Code by misleading Parliament and the state capture commission on meeting the Gupta family.
Mkhwebane has also found that the minister violated the Constitution by allowing the co-called SARS Rogue Unit to operate when he served as commissioner at the revenue service.
She has instructed the President to take disciplinary action against Gordhan within 30 days and has directed Parliament to probe his conduct through the Joint Committee on Ethics and Members' Interests.
Mkhwebane also wants the NPA to finalise the criminal proceedings against the accused in the SARS Rogue Unit matter.
