Mom relieved after being reunited with Soweto toddler

One of the three suspects arrested for the kidnapping of a Soweto toddler who was found in Newcastle was the child's nanny, Gauteng police say.
Little Siya Mlambo was taken from his Protea Glen home was thought to be a robbery on Tuesday night where money and clothes were stolen.
Gauteng police spokesperson, Lungelo Dlamini says further investigation proved that the child's nanny was instrumental in the kidnapping.
Another person believed to be a sangoma has also been arrested in connection with the crime.
Dlamini says a tip-off led Madadeni Police to him yesterday.
Dlamini says Siya's mother is excited to have him back as she had feared the worst.
"She thought her baby would never be found and thought the baby would have been killed. When she heard the news that the toddler was found, she was very excited and thanked the police," he said.
