Moja Love parts ways with murder-accused presenter Xolani Khumalo
Updated | By AFP
The Sizok’thola presenter faces murder charges after an alleged drug dealer died when he was confronted by Xolani Khumalo and his crew.

The now-suspended show, which aired on the DSTv channel 157 (Moja Love), revolved around vigilante-styled confrontations of alleged drug dealers by Khumalo and his security officers.
Khumalo handed himself over to police in September and appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court, where he was released on R20,000 bail.
The Sizok’thola crew reportedly confronted Robert Varie at his Katlehong home after receiving tip-offs that he was involved in underhanded dealings.
During the alleged encounter, Varie was allegedly tortured with a bag that was placed over his head.
In the statement released on Friday, Moja Love said it would not be commenting further on matters related to Khumalo.
“Moja Love TV Channels has terminated its relationship with Mr Xolani Khumalo, presenter of one of the channel’s leading shows.
“The channel will not be commenting on any matters relating to Mr Khumalo at this stage and wishes him all of the best in his future endeavours,” said the channel’s spokesperson Nonzwakazi Cekete.
Khumalo is expected back in court on 21 November.
