MKP: Zuma ANC disciplinary hearing ‘will sit’ on Wednesday
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
The Umkhonto weSizwe Party has confirmed that former president Jacob Zuma’s ANC disciplinary hearing will sit on Wednesday.

The hearing will be held virtually on Wednesday.
He has been charged with contravening the ANC rules, including contravening the party's constitution, following his decision to support and be the face of the MK party for the general elections in May.
The ANC has also charged the former president with breaching his membership oath when he pledged not to campaign for them.
In a statement, the MK party said the ANC had not responded to requests for the hearing to be held in person.

Previously, the ANC said the hearing could not be held at its Luthuli House headquarters in Johannesburg due to security concerns, with MK party members threatening to march to the building in support of Zuma.
The MK party’s statement comes amid reports that Zuma could head to court to interdict the ANC disciplinary hearing against him.
Zuma will be represented by ANC national executive committee member Tony Yengeni at the hearing, which could see him become the first former leader of the ANC to be expelled from the party.
