ActionSA has called for Police Minister Senzo Mchunu to be suspended amid claims of political interference and criminal infiltration within the SAPS.

ActionSA supporters picketed outside the KZN police headquarters in Durban on Thursday, demanding a shake-up of the SAPS leadership.
This follows provincial commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi's recent bombshell allegations
.
Action SA's MP Dereleen James said the claims can't be ignored.
"Mkhwanazi is not speaking to himself, he is calling the people of South Africa. It is your time to change the tide of corruption. Put yourself first."
Durban resident Ntombi Madlala joined the picket and said the general public will be upset should anything happen to Mkhwanazi.
"We are here to support Mkhwanazi. The nation is behind him."
The protestors handed over a memorandum addressed to the national commissioner.
