MK party dominates in KZN with 99.2% of ballots counted

With 99.2% of the ballots captured in KZN, there is no denying the fact that Jacob Zuma's MK party has taken the commanding lead.

Voter support for the group, launched five months ago, has reached 45%.
Mkonto we Sizwe performed well in regions like Amajuba, Uthukela, Umgungdlovu, Harry Gwala, eThekwini and Ugu.

The IFP seems to have garnered most of the votes in Zululand, Nkandla and saw strong support in the King Cetshwayo District.
The ANC, which has 16% of the votes, appears to have had a strong showing in Kokstad, Umzimkulu and Mkhambathini.
The DA has shown dominance in eThekwini and Umngeni.
