Missing NFP councillor’s car riddled by ‘bullet holes, bloodstains’

The National Freedom Party (NFP) say it's deeply concerned following a spate of shootings in KwaZulu-Natal that have targeted councillor candidate.
There are fears the violence could affect voter turnout at next week's local government elections.
The party's been commenting, following the discovery of a man's remains in a burnt car in Nongoma.
Police are trying to determine if they belong to Ward 17 councillor Dumisani Qwabe, who's been missing.
The NFP's Caanan Mdletshe says: "What was established is that his car had some bullet holes and there was some bloodstains in the car and outside of the car as well as on the ground of the scene of the incident, which makes us to believe that he was shot and killed before he was taken into his car which was set alight."
