Medic shot dead while on duty in Estcourt
A paramedic has been shot dead, while another medic is fighting for their life in hospital.
The two were on duty and had been responding to a shooting incident on Sunday night near the area of Mabhanoyini in Estcourt.
According to KZN EMS spokesperson Robert Mckenzie, it was at this point that their vehicle came under fire.
Not much details have emerged following the incident,
It's expected the provincial Health Department will shed more light as additional information emerges.
