Mbalula ‘confident’ ANC in KZN will overcome challenges
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
ANC
secretary-general Fikile Mbalula says the party is hopeful that KZN will
overcome the challenges it's currently facing.

The party is under pressure in the province following the school nutrition programme saga that resulted in pupils at about 5400 schools being without food.
It's also been receiving backlash about corruption and allegations of management with fake qualifications in one municipality.
Briefing the media on the second day of its NWC and PEC meeting in the province on Sunday, Mbalula acknowledged that the party has failed to provide quality service delivery, especially in eThekwini.

He urged the KZN government to fix the issue of potholes and water scarcity.
"Nothing will be swept under the carpet, nothing will not be attended to, so we come in this meeting highly spirited and enthusiastic about overcoming all the challenges from the point of view of the organisation and the state of governance in the province."
