KZN police have launched a manhunt for a man who allegedly killed a police officer and a security guard in Mbazwana, in northern KwaZulu-Natal.

Police received information about the whereabouts of the suspect, who is wanted for multiple carjackings in the area.
When law enforcement officials approached his residence, he opened fire shooting dead a 28-year-old police officer and a 40-year-old security guard.
A second security guard sustained gun wounds to his lower body. He is receiving treatment in hospital.
The police's Jay Naicker says the suspect also robbed the three victims of their firearms and fled in their police vehicle.
"The vehicle was found approximately 10-kilometres away from the scene and was burned by the suspect.
"At this stage, a manhunt is underway for the suspect. We're quite confident that he will be arrested soon and will be brought to book for his crime," said Naicker.
