Mandla Maphumulo memorial service underway

The memorial service of award-winning musician and Big Nuz member, Mandla Maphumulo got underway on Thursday.

Friends, family and fans of Mampintsha have gathered at the eThekwini Community Church to pay their respects to the star.
Maphumulo died at a Durban hospital on Christmas Eve after suffering from a stroke.
The 40-year-old was also the husband of musician and artist Babes Wodumo.
Speaking during the service, Mampintsha's father Thembinkosi Maphumulo became emotional while looking back at the life his only son lived.
He said he's grateful for all his hard work and contribution to the music industry.
Also in attendance were Dj Tira, Linda Sibiya, the last living Big Nuz group member, Danger, amongst other.
