Man killed in Newlands West crash
A man has been killed in a head-on collision in Newlands West Drive, north of Durban.
Crisis Medical says medics arrived at the scene and found a delivery van and a car had crashed.
The driver of the car, a 24-year-old man, was trapped in the wreckage.
Spokesperson, Kyle van Reenen says he had sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
The 21-year-old driver of the delivery van and a 7-year-old passenger sustained moderate injuries.
Van Reenen says they were stabilised on scene before being taken to hospital.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
