Man jailed for life over KZN attempted murders
Updated | By Celumusa Zulu
A man has begun serving life imprisonment and a 5 year-jail sentence for attempting to kill two women in northern KZN.

In September, Siqiniseko Ndlovu attacked the mother of his child and her relative with a bush knife after a night out with him in the Nkundisi area in Mtubatuba.
It's understood Zandile Nhleko and Kholiwe Ngema were left unconscious after the incident.
During his appearance at the Regional Court last week, it was revealed in the trio had an argument about Ndlovu's abusive behaviour before the attack.

KZN NPA spokesperson Natasha Ramkisson-Kara said in addition to the sentence, the court declared him unfit to possess a firearm.
"Together with our partners in the justice cluster, the NPA remains steadfast in our fight against gender-based violence. We encourage members of the community to speak out against gender-based violence," said Kara.
