Updated | By Shaun Ryan
A man is receiving treatment in hospital after a horse
riding incident near Mooi River in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands.
The 50-year-old man sustained a compound fracture of his
lower leg.
Initial reports are that the man on horseback was knocked by
another horse.
Netcare911’s Shawn Herbst says they received a call for
assistance from another private ambulance service at the polo field.
Herbst says the man was given intravenous pain medication.
He was then taken to hospital for further medical attention.
