Man critical after PMB accident
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
A man in his 20s is in a critical condition after a car slammed into him on the N3 near New England in Pietermaritzburg.
Paramedics who treated the pedestrian last night say the man was found lying in the centre median and had suffered injures to his head.
The 28-year-old was treated on the scene before he was taken to hospital. No one from the car was hurt.
Meanwhile, a six-year-old boy was killed in accident on the N3 near the Frankford off ramp.
Three people, including a baby, were seriously injured in the crash.
Reports suggest the vehicle the family was travelling in veered off the road and rolled several times.
