Man caught with R1.3m drugs due in Durban court

A suspected drug dealer is due in a Durban court on Wednesday.
Police say the 50-year-old was found with drugs said to be worth over R1 million during a raid.
Spokesperson Robert Netshiunda says teams executed search warrants on Tuesday, which were obtained for an estate in Sommerset Park in Umhlanga.

He says it led them to a flat on Dr Pixley ka Seme Street in Durban Central.
"The suspect was caught with drugs and empty drug capsules. Cocaine powder, cocaine bullets, heroin powder and rock cocaine, with an estimated value of R1.3 million, were recovered during the raids."
