Man arrested in PMB in connection with officer's murder

A 23-year-old man has been arrested for the murder of a KZN policeman.
The Hawks' Simphiwe Mhlongo says they found him at KwaDambuza in Pietermaritzburg earlier today.
"Constable Lungisani Mkhize was murdered on May 5 at Inchanga area. Police followed up information which led them to the arrest of the suspect," he said.
Police say the body of the 33-year-old officer was found with a bullet wound on the chest.
The suspect will appear before the Camperdown Magistrate's Court on Friday.
