Updated | By Lauren Hendricks
A man accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend to death in Umhlanga is due to hear his fate on Monday.

Sphamandla Khumalo will appear before the Durban High Court on a charge of premeditated murder.
He's pleaded not guilty.
Khumalo is accused of attacking Nomfundo Msibi, the mother of his two children, at a taxi rank near the Gateway Theatre of Shopping last year.
They had been in a relationship for eight years.

The court heard that Msibi had fled to KwaMashu to escape Khumalo's alleged harassment.
The 30-year-old's family previously revealed that his sister warned them that he was following her and asked to rekindle their relationship.
On the day she was murdered, Msibi went to the parking lot to meet with Khumalo to settle a lay-by under his name from a store at the mall.
She was stabbed 22 times.
