Madonsela to release report on Post Office probe
Updated | By Zongile Nhlapo
The Public Protector is expected to release a report on her probe into the Post Office today.
Allegations of maladministration, fraud and corruption have plagued the parastatal in the past few years, resulting in some staff not paid salaries last year.
Communication Workers' Union's KZN representative Siphiwe Mdletshe says remedial action must be taken against individuals who may be found to be implicated in the current state of the parastatal.
"As Communication Workers' Union we are prepared that we go on our own and open the criminal cases against those individuals because what is happening at the Post Office it's been very my concern that R2 billion can be lost and nobody is questioned about it," he said.
