LOOK: Drugs worth R243 million seized in Isipingo

There has been a massive drug bust at a container depot in Isipingo, south of Durban.

Law enforcement teams have seized drugs with a street value of more than R240 million.
Hawks officials say they received information about drugs being smuggled into the country and went to inspect a container, apparently carrying animal food, in Avenue East on Tuesday.

During a search, various teams, including Crime Intelligence Border Security, found 26 canvas bags bearing the logos of the Tik Tok and Jaguar brands and bricks of cocaine weighing 541 kilograms.
No arrests have been made.
