Load shedding pushed to stage 4
Updated | By Newswatch
Eskom has pushed load shedding to stage 4 from Thursday evening.

The country has been on stage 3 load shedding since Saturday.
The utility’s spokesperson Sikonathi Mantshantsha says additional units have broken down, hampering generation capacity.
“A generation unit each at Kendal and Lethabo power stations have just tripped. This necessitates the immediate escalation of load shedding to Stage 4 at 18:00,” he said in a short statement.
“This stage of load shedding will be maintained until further notice.”
