LISTEN: Heartbroken mother of murdered Durban woman speaks

The family of a murdered Durban woman who was shot five times while leaving work - does not want her alleged killer to get bail.
Annalene Pillay was gunned down in Rossburgh, south of Durban, in November last year.

The 27-year-old had worked at a shipping company as a service controller.
Her ex-boyfriend, Tyrone Pillay, was arrested in connection with the crime, and pleaded guilty in court last month.
CCTV footage from a nearby building shows Pillay being shot while running up a staircase - away from the parking lot.

The accused made a brief appearance in the Durban Magistrate's Court this morning - where the matter was postponed to next month for a formal bail application.
Speaking to Newswatch outside court, Annalene's mother Charmaine said the family has been battling to deal with the loss of their sister and daughter.
