LISTEN: Family appeals for info on missing KZN woman

It's been 16 days since a recent graduate went missing after leaving for university on 5th of June.

Mbali Gumede, who graduated last month from the University of Zululand in KwaDlangezwa, left home for the institution to sort out something in preparation for furthering her studies next year.

Her sister, Tobo Mthembu says it was a happy time when Mbali graduated for a Bachelor of Arts in Correctional Studies last month. 

However, she says it's like a distant memory as the family has to deal with the nightmare of not knowing whether she's alive.

"We've reported and opened the case but there's never been anything. Anyone who has information about Mbali, please call the nearest police station or the family. We've posted her pictures everywhere, even in newspapers," she said.
