LISTEN: Communications Minister lambasted during parliamentary inquiry
Minister of Communications, Faith Muthambi, is currently being grilled by Parliament's Ad Hoc Committee.
The committee is conducting an inquiry into the SABC board's fitness to hold office.
The DA's Phumzile van Damme has questioned the decision by the SABC to stop broadcasting violent protests at the time of unrest in Limpopo's Vuwani township, where Muthambi is constituency head.

Muthambi responded by saying she doesn't work at the SABC, and doesn't make editorial policy decisions.
"I think this issue of the editorial policy in Vuwani I think is fantasy. Because this was not done in the influence of Vuwani. This editorial decision was taken long after the Vuwani matters has happened," she said.
