Ladysmith Eskom workers down tools
Updated | By Athi Tutshana
Contractors at Eskom's Ingula Power Station in Ladysmith say they will continue to stay away from work until their grievances are addressed.
They downed tools, complaining about working conditions.
There's apparently no running water there and as many as 600 workers share a single ablution facility underground.
Eskom's Khulu Phasiwe says plans are in place to address their concerns.
"Eskom has taken the matter up with the management of the contractor and the contractor has indicated to Eskom that they will resolve the issue," he said.
